Online Learning
Our courses are designed to train parents and professionals
The PLAY Project’s online learning courses are designed to help parents and professionals understand The PLAY Project’s approach to engaging young children on the autism spectrum. Through our online learning courses, caregivers, therapists, educators, and other child development professionals can learn to improve their daily interactions with children with ASD.
Our courses cover a wide range of topics. Our most popular course is the “Welcome to The PLAY Project” which overviews the basics of our model. For teachers, the Teaching PLAY online course describes why ‘better interaction leads to better academics’.
“Teaching PLAY opened my eyes to the possibilities of being more engaging with a child who has autism in my classroom. I highly recommend this for any teacher.” – PLAY Teacher
For parents our most popular course, called ‘The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly’ describes Dr. Solomon’s approach for handling common behavior problems of the child with autism. Our course catalog will continue to grow and change to provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based information. “I loved Dr. Solomon’s Good, Bad, and Ugly course. So clear and helpful for my child’s bad behaviors.” – PLAY Parent
