When it comes to creativity and the art of coming up with fun and novel activity ideas we all get stuck sometimes – parents and professionals alike! This is exactly what inspired this blog posting! Whether you are a parent or a professional, it is likely that you have found yourself resorting back to the same set of activities over and over again. We all have our tried and true ideas that we pull out of our back pockets in those times when the play becomes dull and we notice we’ve lost the spark in the child’s eye. Sometimes all it takes is one round of tickle monster or burping puppet to get that spark back, but what do we do when those ideas just aren’t effective anymore?
We suggest that you take a break, regroup, and fill up your idea tank with some new material. Since play is our occupation, we’ve done just that. We’ve searched the web and found some great websites which offer a plethora of fun and creative activity ideas. They won’t all be new to you, but we hope this list helps to boost you out of that metaphorical rut when you need it the most.
Here are five online resources to get you started. Have fun!!
