The IWO has approximately 10 hours of content to be completed asynchronously and has two live sessions to answer your questions in person. Instead of having to attend two full days of training\, missing work\, and/or planning for childcare\, learners can take the course when it is convenient for them over a three-week time span! \n*Live session attendance required for CEUs. \n1.0 ASHA CEUs/10 Contact Hours \n1.0 AOTA CEUs/10 Contact Hours \n*Category 1: Domain of OT\, Category 3: Professional Issues \nCertificates of attendance for the PLAY IWO will be issued to participants who complete all post course requirements\, including a survey and post-test. \nPlease see the course syllabus for specific requirements for obtaining CEUs – including live session attendance. \nThe PLAY Project offers ASHA\, Illinois Early Intervention\, and AOTA CEUs to U.S. SLPs and OTs for the 2-Day Intensive Workshop and PLAY IWO (hosted by PLAY HQ). Participants will take a post-test to show what they have learned.\nParticipants practice developing a child profile\, after watching a case study video. Participants receive digital handouts that they can use to further practice these skills with children and families.\n*Learning outcomes will be assessed through a PLAY Project self-evaluation post-test \nCourse completion requirements:\n– Completion of the online course\n– Participation in case study analysis\n– Participation in online forum and live sessions\n– Evaluation of course and self quiz/post-test \n\nWho will benefit:\nEarly intervention and/or child development professionals (SLP\, OT\, M.Ed.\, MSW)\, behavioral health providers\, parents of children with autism\, administrators and policy makers involved with autism services. \nCourse time:\nApproximately 10 hours \nAdditional notes: Click on PUBLIC COURSES once you login with your account information for the first time. \nCancellation policy: We are unable to offer a refund if a trainee cancels less than a week before the event start date but another registrant could be substituted in their place. The PLAY Project can cancel an event up to 2 weeks before the start date.
