Course Description: 

An in-depth and detailed way for parents and professionals to become skilled at profiling the child’s development using The PLAY Project’s systematic approach. This ability to profile a child’s development with precision is at the core of our entire model. This course is for both parents and professionals, this course should allow you to know precisely, even without a formal evaluation, how to help the children in your life progress by learning how to have fun playing at the right developmental level.

Participants will learn:

  1. Accurately profile a child’s development assessing the child’s Comfort Zone Activities, Sensory-Motor Profile, and Functional Developmental Levels & Capacities
  2. Discover the key strategies that caregivers can use to help the child make progress toward their full potential
  3. Create an official written ‘PLAY Project Child Profile Form’

Recommended for:

Parents and caregivers of children with ASD; early childhood professionals, including therapists, educators, and paraprofessionals.

 

Course time:

Approximately 3 hours + 1 hour Live Session

This course is the second step in pursuing the Certified PLAY Project and Teaching PLAY Consultant credential. Prerequisite requirements: Intensive Workshops (2-day Live or Livestream Workshop or PLAY Intensive Workshop Online.)
